A huge thank you to everyone who donated and to my fellow sleep mates from the Porterbrook team who took part in the Big Sleepout for the Railway Children charity last night.
I raised £700 and the total in the UK was over £150k!
330 people took part in the second ever sleepout, across 9 different stations which hosted the event. The event was televised, broadcast and widely shared on social media.
The total amount raised would be enough to set up and operate a safeguarding project for a whole year at one of the UK’s railway stations where there are a high number of children at risk.
