We are seeking freelance Business Advisors to work 20 hours per week. These are excellent roles where what you do can make a life-changing difference to those furthest from the workplace.
Enterprise Exchange specifically work with marginalised people seeking to enter the world of work through self-employment. This is where the role of the Business Advisor comes in.
Working as part of a specialist and high performing team, your role will be to guide participants through the self-employment landscape, from assessing suitability, finding and arranging funding, banking, assisting with marketing and business plans and much more. Once up and running your relationship does not end there, you will be on hand to provide ongoing support, dealing with the frustrations and wobbles that go hand in hand with self-employment.
We are looking for you to have proven experience as a business advisor and self-employment trainer, ideally you will have run your own business and been self-employed before with an understanding of the complexities that exist where participants have additional barriers to overcome
The key focus of the role is to provide ongoing business support and training for participants, this involves -
- Booking participant for one-to-one sessions via Zoom or Teams
- Updating information onto internal systems/CRM
- Writing business plans
- Advise participants on all aspects of their business such as marketing, market research, insurance etc.
You will naturally have the ability to communicate with a range of people at all levels with practical knowledge of the challenges of starting a business and will be comfortable delivering self-employment training programmes to groups of people from all walks of life
As this is a work from home role you will be required to have a full office set up with the space to work in a professional and confidential manner. The roles pay £20 per hour, on a fully self-employed basis.
