Huge well done and congratulations to Jack Godfrey, the winner of our Sock It To Sepsis competition!
Some of you might remember that back in September we ran a competition to support Sepsis Research (FEAT) during Sepsis Awareness Month. Sepsis kills more than five people every hour in the UK and Sepsis Research (FEAT) is the UK’s only sepsis research charity, working hard to raise awareness of the condition and fund vital research to help us understand more about sepsis.
As a charity close to our hearts here at Rainbow HR, we wanted to help raise money for this amazing cause. We asked as many of you as possible to donate to our JustGiving page, don your stripy socks and send us a picture of you out and about – raising awareness of sepsis in the community. We were so overwhelmed by the amazing response and together we managed to raise over £1,600 for Sepsis Research (FEAT)!
Unfortunately, we could only pick one winner and it just had to be Jack Godfrey. Jack had sepsis himself at just one week old, he spent six days in hospital but fortunately made a full recovery. Jack and his mum Emma decided to enter the competition after hearing about it on social media. Jack’s picture in his stripy socks had to be selected as our favourite and he won himself a £100 Amazon voucher – well done Jack!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our competition and donated to Sepsis Research, we’re delighted to have been able to provide support for such a worthy cause.

Christmas cards to help you spread some festive joy to loved ones you can’t visit right now, running attire to keep you motivated as we move into winter or perhaps you would like your own pair of stripey socks!
