Associate Interior Designer, c£40k plus bonus
Our client is a dynamic interior design studio based in Glasgow who specialise in designing quality, creative solutions for the hospitality industry. They have an excellent reputation in this niche market and have a strong pipeline of significant new contracts. They are looking for an Associate Interior Designer to join the team at this very exciting time to work with them as they continue to establish and grow their business.
This is a new senior role which will be a vital part of the management team and will work alongside the Director’s to deliver fantastic projects, pitch for new work and chase project leads. A key accountability will be the ability to manage the day to day running of the studio, ensuring that the staff deliver the highest quality of work. The role offers a great balance between shaping the strategic direction alongside being hands on leading on key projects, from concept through to delivery. The focus of the role is on project execution and delivery, including all the commercial aspects, meeting clients, and ensuring that the highest quality product is delivered on time and to budget.
The ideal candidate will have around 8 years interior design experience, having worked on large scale commercial projects ideally within hotels or hospitality. Driven and ambitious, this role would suit an individual who would relish the opportunity to be part of a start up business which has demonstrated excellent growth since it’s inception. They will be strategic, but equally happy to manage projects and will have excellent commercial acumen. You will be an ongoing and engaging individual, with excellent organisational and people management skills.
