PR and Communications Manager Glasgow

The business has a strong growth plan and is looking for an experienced PR and Communications Manager to join the team as a result of recent client wins.
The role will work with a number of client teams, focusing on creating compelling campaigns that deliver positive, measurable outcomes working within the budget and time allocated. Bringing a blend of both strategy and hands-on work, the role will involve developing multi-channel approaches which maximise exposure for the clients. Key accountabilities will be the preparation of all written materials including press releases, award submissions, newsletters, website copy and social media posts. You will deliver the servicing for several clients against their budget and ensure they get good value in return for their investment. Event management is also a part of the role, along with ensuring that you have the right connections in relevant areas, including the media and trade publications. Strong organisational and time management skills to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are critical.
Our ideal candidate will come from either an agency or in-house environment where you have a track record of managing multiple business units/internal clients at the same time. Key will be the ability to build up strong external networks across all aspects of the media and other key stakeholders. You will be creative and an excellent communicator, both written and orally with an exacting attention to detail. You will thrive on creating excellent relationships and be a trusted partner to your clients. There is also a business development element to the role. Some experience in tender writing, pitching and business development would be an advantage.
